flash memory products, has launched the Corsair Storage Solutions
P256 256GB solid-state drive (SSD). It uses specially selected
Samsung MLC flash memory and a s Samsung Controller IC, coupled with
128MB of cache memory and Native Command Queuing (NCQ) support.
John Beekley, vice president of Applications Engineering at Corsair,
says the P256 delivers read speeds of up to 220MB/second and write
speeds of up to 200MB/second. Additionally, the P256 is more durable
and reliable than hard disk drives, and has been shown in the Corsair
Labs to provide up to 25 percent longer battery life in portable
computers, he adds.

Nvidia CUDA 2.2 toolkit released
Nvidia has released version 2.2 of the CUDA toolkit
