Safari 4 downloads top 11 million in three days
Apple today announced that more than 11 million copies of Safari 4 have been downloaded in the first three days of its release, including more than six million downloads of Safari for Windows. Safari 4 is the world's fastest, most innovative browser and is built on the world's most advanced browser technologies including the new Nitro JavaScript engine that executes JavaScript nearly eight times faster than IE 8 and more than four times faster than Firefox 3. Servoy eliminates need for Citrix or RDP for native SaaS apps

HazelMail iPhone app turns photos into postcards
HazelMail has released a self-titled app for the iPhone and iPod touch that turns photos taken on an iPhone into personalized postcards -- and then prints, stamps, and mails them for you. It's free and comes with a credit for one free postcard. HazelMail also launched a feature that allows users to pre-purchase a dozen postcards for US$12 (vs. $1.50 per individual postcard). DriveSavers has just launched its first iPhone app. The company says it's the first and only hard drive simulator for the iPhone and iPod touch. Apple introduces Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard
Today at the Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple unveiled a Developer Preview of Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard. It's a full 64-bit UNIX server operating system based on open standards that is up to twice as fast as its predecessor, according to Bertrand Serlet, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering. MobileSyncBrowser update adds support for iPhone OS 3.0

The upgrade adds compatibility with iPhone OS 3.0 and iTunes 8.2 and has been rewritten to provide both new and improved previews, better performance and enhanced stability. Fourth Service Pack for the Vectorworks 2009 released
Nemetschek North America has released its fourth Service Pack for the Vectorworks 2009 product line. Many quality improvements have been added to this Service Pack, including improvements related to stairs, performance, and overall stability, says Mark Farnan, director of Software Development at Nemetschek North America. Currently, Service Pack 4 is available only for professional licenses as a downloadable updater. All other license types will be available in the next few weeks.
