vCard Class for REALbasic
This is the first release of a class that you can use (modify if you wish)
to process vCard files. It is used in two of my applications to accept
dragged items out of the Apple Address Book. It so far supports vCard 2.1
and 3.0 formats.
The class is currently wrapped in a project that will give you an idea of
how to use the class. It is a free class and I hope that it can help
somebody else out. The project will also show you how to receive dragged
items from the Apple Address Book. With slight modification the code can be
used to accept dragged items from iPhoto.
If you make any modifications then please let me know. I hope soon to have
the class to create vCard files.

Working With Time Bases
The Movie Toolbox provides a number of functions that allow you to work
with time bases. A QuickTime time base defines the time coordinate system
of a movie. However, you can also use QuickTime time bases to provide
general timing services.
Although most time base functions can be used at interrupt time, several of
the Movie Toolbox functions cannot.
Creating Time Bases
NewTimeBase lets you create a new time base. Time bases rely on either a
clock component or another time base for their time source. You can use
SetTimeBaseMasterTimeBase to cause one time base to be based on another

12 August 2002 - Hanover, NH. Dartware LLC has ported the open-source
QuickPage package (also known as qpage) to run on MacOS X. QuickPage was
developed by Thomas Dwyer III, and has been ported to run on many Unix

QuickPage offers two facilities that work together, and can run
concurrently on the same computer. These are:
* A Simple Network Paging Protocol (SNPP) server, that listens for SNPP
messages, and sends them through an analogue modem using the TAP protocol;

CFPlugin is officially released. It wraps up most of the CoreFoundation
classes into one easy-to-use REALbasic plugin, along with providing access
to the Property List services for creating and parsing .plist files.
