Epson America has expanded its Supertank category of Ecotank printers (http://tinyurl.com/jh22srk) with the WorkForce ET-16500 wide-format model and Expression ET-3600. They deliver cartridge-free printing with easy-to-fill supersized ink tanks and up to two years of ink in the box.

Featuring all-in-one capabilities and a combination of convenience and value, the ET-16500 and ET-3600 bring low-cost, hassle-free color printing to businesses and the home. In addition, the printers solve one of the biggest pain points for businesses and consumers: running out of ink. When compared to traditional cartridge printers, the ink included with each of these EcoTank printers is equivalent to about 50 ink cartridge sets – or up to 11,000 pages – for increased color printing without out-of-ink frustration. When it is time to replace the ink, users can save up to 80% on ink with low-cost replacement bottles.
 
The ET-16500 and ET-3600 boast an entirely new printing system unique to the Supertank category of printers to deliver laser-quality performance. Plus, they come equipped with built-in, easy-to-use wireless and Wi-Fi Direct capabilities so users can print directly from tablets and smartphones across a range of operating systems, as well as through Epson Connect solutions.  
 
The WorkForce ET-16500 EcoTank Wide-Format All-in-One Supertank Printer powered by PrecisionCore, is the first wide-format model in the Supertank category, and delivers an in-box ink yield of up to 10,500 black and 11,000 color pages to match the needs of small to medium-size businesses. The ET-16500 all-in-one delivers laser-quality black text and prints up to 13” x 19”. It copies and scans pages up to 11” x 17”. Plus, this wide-format printer features a 500-sheet capacity and rear specialty-paper feed, as well as a 4.3” color touchscreen for easy navigation.
 
The Expression ET-3600 EcoTank All-in-One Supertank Printer, designed for the small office/home office market, offers an in-box ink yield of up to 11,000 black and 8,500 color pages and fast print speeds of up to 13.7 ISO ppm (black) and 7.3 ISO ppm (color) . The ET-3600 boasts auto 2-sided printing, a 150-sheet paper capacity and offering wireless printing from tablets and smartphones.
 
The WorkForce ET-16500 EcoTank ($1,199) and Expression ET-3600 EcoTank ($399) will be available mid-September 2016 through major computer, office and electronic superstores and at www.epsonstore.com.
