Mailplane is an application that gives you a combined Google Calendar and Gmail experience separate from your web browser. With this OS X app no separate calendar set-up is required. Plus, accepting an invitation intuitively switches to the correct calendar tab.

Mac users will find that Mailplane integrates seamlessly into the OS X environment. It supports Apple Mail-like keyboard shortcuts and can, in fact, act as the default mail client. You can mail PDFs from the Print dialog, access OS X Services, and more.


With Mailplane, you can switch between Google accounts instantly via tabs. There's no need for constantly signing in and out. You can also enable Gmail plugins on an account basis with a single click, as well as hide ads or apply a custom stylesheet.

With Mailplane you can resize Resize images, compress directories or capture your screen and attach it to your message without having to launch another app. You can preview attachments via QuickLook. 


Mailplane's notifier updates you about unread messages. It integrates with Mac OS X's notification center and sports a "Do Not Disturb" mode. Mailplane has also an AppleScript interface to automate some of your daily workflows.
