Folio for iPad combines style, protection, flexibility
If you have 100 bucks to spend on a premium iPad case, Sena Cases has got your number with the Folio (http://www.senacases.com/apple/apple-ipad-cases), a high-end, Napa leather case that dresses up the Apple tablet in sophisticated style.
It sports a soft, gorgeous leather book style, side-folding design that oozes class. It's great that the Folio case looks so sharp and snazzy, but if it were looks alone in which it excelled, it certainly wouldn't be worth a C note. The Sena case offers good protection and is very flexible.
The cut-outs fit perfectly. Slide your iPad into the leather holding frame, and you can still access the dock, ports and buttons. The Folio's rigid protective layer reinforces additional backbone support for durability.
My favorite feature: the Folio solves the problem of the iPad slipping out of it with a snap that secures the tablet in place. But that snap does a lot more. Close the case and it closes with the snap and a leather strap. But, wait, there's more. A second snap on the back of the Folio converts the strap into a kickstand for the iPad. You can prop it up for typing, watching videos, etc. (You can only set it at one angle, and I've found it better for video viewing than typing.)
What's more, the Folio case an integrated, recessed, collapsible back stand. Inside is a soft velvet lining with a light protective layer. There's a place for your business cards and/or an ID, as well as a pocket-sized envelope in which you can put checks or paperwork.
There are more protective cases. There are more versatile cases. And there are more sophisticated cases -- no, wait, there's not. Anyway, I haven't found a case that does a better job of combining style, protection and flexibility.
The Sena Folio adds a touch of practical class to your Apple tablet. And doesn't your iPad deserve the best?
