Xeric Design (www.xericdesign.com) has launched Cinematica 2.4, an upgrade to its video management app for Mac OS X. It lets you manage your video library in detail, keeping track of dozens of properties for each and every file.

With Cinematica, you can sort and search by multiple criteria as well as by technical properties. Version 2.4 adds better Finder integration. Filenames are now directly represented in the "Name" field so that changing a filename in the Finder will be reflected in Cinematica and vice versa.

Cinematica 2.4 requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher. Single user copies may be purchased online for US$24.95. Five user copies are available for $39.95. Upgrades from version 1.x start at $12.95.
