Mesa Dynamics debuts 'Parallel Sessions' in Stainless...
Mesa Dynamics has updated Stainless (http://www.stainlessapp.com),
the company's multi-process web browser for Mac OS X 10.5
("Leopard"). Like Google's Chrome browser, each tab in Stainless runs
in a separate process, offering increased browser performance and
stability, as well as decreased overall memory usage.
Although Chrome served as inspiration for the first release of
Stainless, the current release marks the beginning of Mesa's endeavor
to craft Stainless into a full-fledged browser with features not

Adobe has released Photoshop Lightroom 2.3 and Camera Raw 5.3,

5.3 updates, originally posted as release candidates for community
testing on Jan. 23, provide raw file support for the newly-released
Nikon D3X and Olympus E-30 cameras.

Apple has introduced the new Mac Pro using Intel "Nehalem" Xeon
processors and a next-generation system architecture to deliver up to
twice the performance of the previous generation system. The new Mac
Pro starts at US$2,499.

Apple updates iMac, Mac mini
Apple has updated its iMac and Mac mini desktop lines. The iMac
update doesn't include a quad-core option as many have hoped but does
include a 24-inch iMac that's priced more affordably. There's also a
Mac mini with new integrated graphics.
For the same US$1,499 price as the previous generation 20-inch iMac,
the new 24-inch iMac delivers a 30 percent larger display, twice the
memory and twice the storage, according to Apple. Delivering up to
five times better graphics performance, the updated Mac mini now
features the same groundbreaking Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated
graphics introduced with the aluminum unibody MacBook family.
Apple Chief Operating Officer says that the Mac mini is the world's

Cortado develops business solutions for the iPhone
Cortado (http://www.cortado.com), a company that specializes in
mobile applications, has announced the development of practical
business applications for the iPhone. A variety of new solutions will
become available within the next six months.
Cortado's Exchange Hosting, a solution optimized for mobile devices,
already offers a communication solution for iPhones used by
entrepreneurs, freelancers and small to medium-sized businesses. The
company says it will also be offering its standard business solutions
for the Apple device. This means iPhone features will be augmented by
classic computer functions such as printing, faxing, access to
corporate networks, scanning and copying, database access and much
more, according to Roger Guerrero, sales manager at Cortado.

Mobui launches made-for-TV mobile group chat product

Adobe releases Photoshop CS4 update
Adobe has released an update to its Photoshop software, available
immediately for existing Photoshop CS4 users. The Photoshop 11.0.1
update addresses key issues reported by customers that may impact
performance.
The update also includes the
following enhancements: the ability to correctly recognize 3D
textures edited by plug-ins; improved quality of Auto-Blend Layers
(Stack Images); and fixes for issues that can be caused by corrupt
fonts or when pasting formatted text.
