The latest iOS apps for Sept. 1
Here are some of the latest apps available at the Apple App Store for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and/or Apple Watch.
Andrew Kaz has introduced TurnTable, which provides a new graphical interface for music. The app lets you scroll through a quilt of albums, flick through full-screen Records, and scroll through charts of Artists, and their discographies. Tap an Album, and it's just like an album; the track titles "printed" right on full-screen album art. TurnTable is being offered for US$2.99 for a limited time.
Zach Gage has announced Sage Solitaire. It's a free solitaire variant that combines the luck and joy of Klondike Solitaire with the depth of poker.
Newtronium has released SkillShot. In the game players engage in a squash-like single-player experience by trying to hit the ball against the wall as many times as possible, without hitting the floor twice in a row or going out of bounds. SkillShot is available in a free, ad-supported version and an $0.99, ad-free version.
Simian Productions has unveiled wobinich ("whereami" in English). It's a $0.99 app that allows users to share their location in a platform independent message.
Appothecary presents CarTapes. It's a $2.99 app that offered a new interface for browsing your music, in the form of virtual cassette tapes.
