CaptureSync for Mac OS X updated to version 1.1
Ben Software has released CaptureSync 1.1, an update to their multi-camera recording software for the Mac.
Supporting up to 16 video and audio inputs, CaptureSync takes video and audio streams and records them to a single file that contains all streams synchronized. It's designed for recording interviews, scientific experiments, psychological research, musical performances, presentations and sporting events, and more.
According to Ben Software, improvements in CaptureSync 1.1 over the previous version are:
° Improved synchronization of network video sources;
° A larger buffer for local devices to avoid dropped frames;
° A new option for uncompressed 16-bit and 24-bit audio capture;
° A new feature to split multi-track files for import into Final Cut Pro;
° Improved audio level meter
CaptureSynce costs approximately US$320 for a single-user license or $2,400) for a site license. It requires Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. A 30-day fully-featured trial of CaptureSync is available for download at the product website (http://tinyurl.com/p5s5hxy).
