Metason (http://www.metason.net) has released ArtistInfo 2.4 , an update to their Mac OS app that presents a concise overview of artists involved in a music album.

Band members, musicians' biographies, played music instruments, discographies, performed musical genres, and upcoming concerts are displayed in detail. Version 2.4 offers synchronization with Spotify, and supports the playback of discovered album tracks and songs using either the local iTunes music collection or Spotify's audio streaming.

ArtistInfo requires Mac OS X 10.9 or later. It costs US$5.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Music category.
