HoudahGeo adds support for the new Mac OS X Photos app

Houdah Software (www.houdah.com) has introduced HoudahGeo 4.1, an upgrade to its one-stop photo geocoding solution for Mac OS X (10.8 and higher).

The app "pins" photos to locations where they were taken. Just like a GPS-enabled camera, HoudahGeo embeds latitude, longitude and altitude information within the image file. The app can load images from iPhoto, Aperture and Lightroom libraries. HoudahGeo 4.1 can now also use photos from the new Apple Photos media library.

A full-featured trial version is available. Licenses can can be purchased from the Houdah Software store. HoudahGeo 4.1 is priced at US$29 for a single-user license and $44 for a family license.
