Eltima Software has released Elmedia Player GO (http://tinyurl.com/qxpgcfo) on the Mac App Store. This universal media player supports virtually all commonly used audio and video formats and downloads media from the web, including MP4, MOV, DAT, MP3, and MKV.

The application features a 10-band audio equalizer to shape your audio tone, its own volume control, video tuner for adjusting sharpness, contrast, reducing noise, video aspect ratio change to fit image into screen, playback speed adjustment, ability to edit subtitles and more. It features a built-in web browser that allows you to watch online videos directly from the app, while Open URL enables you to do it without ads.

You can watch online videos in full screen mode and pin the player window on top of other running apps so you never miss a moment of your favorite movie. What's Elmedia allows you to grab a still of your video frame and enables you to save online videos (YouTube resources not included) and RTMP streams from the web.
