iWork for iCloud apps now available for Windows, Android users

Apple has made its iWork apps — Pages, Numbers and Keynote — available to users of beyond Mac OS X and iOS apps. Yep, that means Windows and Android users.

The apps are accessible to users without an Apple device through the iCloud Beta program. Anyone can sign up for an Apple ID to access Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for free. Each account comes with 1GB of complementary iCloud storage.

Previously, you could only create an Apple ID login on a Mac, iPhone or iPad. In order to register an Apple ID, go to beta.icloud.com and click the link below the sign-in area that allows users to create an account. Users can then create a login with any email address.
