LastPass for OS X lets you store passwords, notes, more

LastPass has released a self-titled Mac app that's available at the Mac App Store for free. The app — which requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher — provides a "home" for passwords, notes, and personal information.

LastPass Mac App provides a Mini Vault, a full-featured vault for storing logins, passwords, IDs, credit cards, and other important data. With its Quick Search feature, users can search for a website or keyword to retrieve their logins, launch a site, and be logged in to one of their online accounts.

LastPass also offers a Live Security Challenge. This feature gives users up-to-the-minute status on the strength of their passwords to eliminate the question, "Are all my passwords strong enough?"
