Other World Computing (OWC) has announced a new 1TB OWC 2.5-inch Mercury Electra 6G SATA SSD. It's designed for Mac or PC systems; no extra software or hacks are needed.

According to OWC (http://www.macsales.com), the US$499Mercury Electra 6G SATA SSD offers sustained transfer rates up to 535/443MBps read/write. It's designed for do-it-yourself installation with step-by-step install videos.
