Disk Drill 2.4 for Mac OS X adds disk space virtualization

The CleverFiles Team has released Disk Drill 2.4 for Mac OS X. It adds Yosemite compatibility and disk space visualization to its suite of data recovery features.

Now users can rescue lost data, protect data from future loss, and easily identify files that are taking up too much space. In addition to space visualization, Disk Drill 2.4 also brings: full support for Mac OS X Yosemite Core Storage technology, the capability to preview files in a hex (binary data) view, and a new type of scanning algorithm called "Allocate existing file system data". More details on the new release can be found in the official project's knowledge base.

Disk Drill 2.4 for Mac is a free upgrade for all Free, Pro, Expert and Enterprise users of Disk Drill 2.x. Users will be prompted to upgrade upon launch of the program. Go to http://tinyurl.com/k6yalft for more info.
