Max Secure updates its Mac Anti-Virus for WireLurker malware
Max Secure Software (http://maxmobisecure.com) has released a live update for its Mac AntiVirus to detect and clean the new WireLurker malware.
WireLurker infects iOS devices through trojanized Mac OS X apps and also infects non-jail broken iOS devices. Max Secure Malware research team has added multiple checks to detect the WireLurker malware. At Max Secure the AntiVirus apps for Mac and iOS are equipped to check and clean the WireLurker.
AntiVirus 1.0.9 is available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Utilities category. It requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher.
