PaintCode for Mac OS X adds Smart Symbols feature

ixelCut has announced PaintCode 2.2, an update of the vector drawing app for Mac OS X that generates Objective-C drawing code in real time. The new version adds Smarat Symobls, a new feature for prototyping user interface designs.

Smart Symbols allow designers to draw something on one canvas, then reuse it as a Symbol on other canvases in the document. When the designer adjusts the original canvas, all changes are instantly visible in all Symbols.

PaintCode 2.2 is available on the Mac App Store for US$99.99. More information about PaintCode and a trial version can be found on the product website (http://www.paintcodeapp.com/). Version 2.2 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x
