FileMaker Inc. (www.filemaker.com) has announced the “Performance” guide, a free, 30-page electronic guide to building high-performance custom FileMaker solutions that run on iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac and the web.

The first in a series of FileMaker guides focused on solution design, the Performance guide is available immediately for download via the FileMaker Technical Network, a free-to-join online resource network and community for FileMaker developers and enthusiasts.

Ryan Rosenberg, vice president, marketing and services for FileMaker, says the guide identifies the top factors that affect performance. In simple language, it details how to apply best practices to enhance actual solution performance. Rosenberg says readers will learn how to:
