InfoLogic releases MathMagic Lite for Mac OS X

InfoLogic has releases MathMagic Lite 8.91, their free, complimentary equation editor for Mac OS X 10.6 or later.

On top of its interface to type math expressions and symbols via palettes and keyboard, it also reads various Math formats including MathML, LaTeX, Plain TeX, Wiki equations, ASCIIMath, MathJax, and MathType. MathMagic Lite for Mac can save expressions in PNG, SVG, JPG, Math-To-Speech and more.

Unlike the paid versions, MathMagic Lite has some less used or high end complex features disabled or removed, focusing more on K-12 math levels. Also, colors are converted to grey. High end users who need more advanced features can try MathMagic Personal and MathMagic Pro. MathMagic Lite for Mac OS X is free and available immediately for download from the MathMagic website (http://www.mathmagic.com/).
