Apple announces Oct. 16 media event

Apple has sent out press invitations to a keynote address for Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Town Hall auditorium on its Infinite Loop Campus in Cupertino, California.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. (Pacific). The invite's tag line says, "it's been way too long."
