Dear Panda has released version 5.0.2 of their CourseNotes (http://www.coursenotesapp.com) note-taking app for the Mac. The new version introduces support for audio recording, support for iCloud syncing with CourseNotes on Mac and other iOS devices, and a ton of other new features and improvements.

Students can add underlined, bold and italicized text throughout their notes as well as change font sizes to emphasize sections of the text. Along with CourseNotes' bullet summary mode, students now have a set of tools with which to structure their notes.

CourseNotes 5.0.2 requires Mac OS X 10.9 or higher and sells for US$4.99. It's available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Education category. Volume discounts are available for educational institutions through Apple's App Store Volume Purchase Program.
