Tasa releases Mineralogy book series on iBooks

Published by Tasa Graphic Arts,, in association with the Mineralogical Society of America, all 24 chapters of The Mineralogy and Optical Mineralogy digital book series (http://tinyurl.com/ox2aou8) for the iPad and Mac are now available on iBooks.

This series is specifically designed to take full advantage of the latest digital media technology to empower students and teachers of mineralogy. The series feature color photographs, illustrations, movies, 3D models that can be rotated, interactive diagrams and review questions.

To view the books, you must have an iPad with iBooks 3 or later and iOS 5.1 or later, or a Mac with iBooks 1.0 or later and OS X 10.9 or later. Individual chapters are available separately for as low as US$3.99.

You can pick and choose the chapters you need. Additional chapters will be available soon.
