Kool Tools: Winegard’s Boost Amplifier

If you're like me, you're awaiting the day when you can cut the cable or satellite cord entirely. I haven't quite reached that day yet. However, a product like Winegard's Boost digital TV antenna amplifier brings that day a little closer.

Arguably the most advanced digital dual-band TV antenna booster around Boost delivers a crystal clear TV signal to your HDTV -- and can be used with EyeTV devices on a Mac -- so you can watch more broadcast TV channels in high definition than with an antenna alone. It has a 50-mile range.
 
Its low noise design allows the amp to preserve the digital signal without introducing unwanted noise into the digital TV tuner. The result is more local TV channels with minimal pixilation and dropouts. The Boost works with any existing unamplified TV antenna.
  
It uses an energy saving USB power supply or optional 110 volt plug. The Boost is available at the Winegard online store (www.getfreetv.com).
