Real Time Logic has announced BarracudaDrive 4.6 (http://macte.ch/FnOnf), an update to their web server for small businesses and consumers.

BarracudaDrive can be installed on a variety of computers including Mac, Windows and Linux systems, and specialized devices. Version 4.6 features a new File Mailer component that's designed to make it easy and secure to distribute confidential data of any size to any number of contacts via regular email.

The File Mailer's web interface resembles a standard email client's graphical user interface and provides features such as auto completion on email addresses found in the contact database. Start typing and a list of possible email address matches are shown. Contacts are automatically added if they're not already in the database. Large contact lists can be imported by dragging and dropping the contact list onto the File Mailer Web interface.

BarracudaDrive 4.6 is free for home use. Business licenses start at US$200.
