Xerox announces new color flatbed scanner

Xerox (http://www.xeroxscanners.com) has announced a color flatbed scanner that scans, copies and emails documents at the touch of a single button: the Xerox DocuMate3220. It scans text at 23 pages per minute or 46 images per minute in duplex mode.

The DocuMate 3220 handles variable paper sizes and delicate originals on the glass or volumes of pages through an automatic document feeder (ADF) that holds up to 50 pages. It has a small footprint. Installation involves inserting one DVD-ROM disc and connecting the scanner to a host computer via a hi-speed USB 2.0 cable.

The Xerox DocuMate 3220 providese single button control at the front panel for scanning to any of 9 preset and up to 99 completely customizable one-touch scan profiles. It has a U.S. list price of $349.99 and is available immediately through major reseller and online channel partners.
