Kodak (http://www.kodak.com) has announced new video cameras, expanded its EasyShare line and debuted a new all-in-one.
The company has introduced two new additions to its Mac compatible pocket video camera portfolio – the Kodak Playfull Video Camera and the next generation of the Kodak PlaySport Video Camera that's shockproof, dustproof and waterproof up to 10 feet. Both video cameras feature Kodak's Share Button that let you share your videos and pictures with friends and family in three steps. The company has also added Twitter as a sharing destination as well as two more international sites.
The PlayFull can tackle 1080p HD video and 5-megapixel HD stills. It has built-in software and USB arm for automatic sharing, in-camera charging and transfer to a computer, built-in digital image stabilization, smart face tracking technology and and expandable SD/SDHC card slot (up to 32 GB). The video camera will be available in silver, blue-silver, purple-silver and blue-black for US$149.95 this spring.
The PlaySport is shockproof, dustproof and waterproof up to 10 feet. It supports 1080p HD videos and 5MP HD stills with auto-focus. On-camera editing lets you trim and extract still pictures from video. There's an underwater white balance mode, as well as built-in digital image stabilization, smart face tracking technology and and expandable SD/SDHC card slot (up to 32 GB). The video camera will be available in black, red, green, white and aqua for $179.95 this spring.
Kodak has also announced new additions to its EasyShare digital camera portfolio. The EasyShare Touch Camera (pictured) features a 3-inch high resolution capacitive touchscreen LCD. It also features a dedicated video record button designed to make it simple to take 720p HD video that you can edit and share right on the camera. The EasyShare Touch Camera also has an auto organization feature that sorts by people, date, keywords and videos so it's easy to find the moments you want to share.
With 14 MP and a 5X wide-angle optical zoom lens, the camera also boasts Kodak's Smart Capture and Face Recognition features, multiple scene and artistic modes. The EasyShare touch Camera will be available in silver, black, red-orange, purple and red for $149.95 this spring.
About the size of a credit card, the EasyShare Mini Camera is Kodak's smallest camera yet. It sports a 3X wide-angle optical zoom lens and built-in front mirror. The EasyShare Mini is a 10-megapixel amera with a 2.5-inch bright LCD, Kodak's Smart Capture and Face Recognition features, multiple scene and color modes. It will be available in white, purple, red and black for $99.95 this spring.
The EasyShare Sport Camera is Kodak's first waterproof digital still camera; it can go up to 10 feet underwater, and is also dustproof to withstand dirt, dust and sand. The EasyShare Sport is a 12-megapixel camera with a 2.4-inch LCD, Kodak's Smart Capture feature, multiple scene and color modes. It will be available in white, grey, red, yellow and blue for $79.95 in the spring.
Kodak is also introducing several additional cameras in its EasyShare portfolio, including the EasyShare max Camera featuring Kodak's first 12 MP BSI (back side illuminated) CMOS sensor to capture better pictures in low light, 30X wide-angle optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization, full 1080p HD video and Kodak's exclusive Share Button.
Finally, Kodak has also announced the ESP C310 All-in-One (AiO) Printer. It provides wireless printing and uses Kodak's new 30 series ink system. It will be available in April for $99.99.
