Steve Jobs' keynote appearance: is he well?

Now none of this may be the case, but Eric decided to look for signs of the latter by comparing views of Jobs from the WWDC keynote in 2005 to Monday's event. Attached are two screen grabs. Overall, Apple's head honcho appears to be thinner in '06 (above right) than in '05 (above left). His beard also has reappeared this year.

"It's mere speculation on my part, but I'd say something is taking its toll on our favorite CEO," Eric says. "Could be the stock options issue, or something much worse."

Hopefully, the CEO is healthy and happy. He's only a couple of years older than Yours Truly and my weight (and facial hair) can certainly vary depending on a variety of factors. Personally, I hope that Steve Jobs is at Apple's helm for years to come, and I have a feeling that most of you feel the same.
