Seapine Software Releases Major Upgrade to TestTrack Product Line

New 2008 Versions of Popular Issue Management and Test Case Management
Software Enhance Automation, Collaboration, and Organization

Mason, Ohio-October 24, 2007-Seapine Software, Inc., a global provider of
quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, recently
began shipping TestTrack Pro 2008, TestTrack TCM 2008, and TestTrack Studio
2008, new versions of its powerful cross-platform issue management, test
case management, and software test management solutions. The updated
versions of these award-winning development and quality assurance tools
include new automation, organization, and collaboration features to help
companies deliver quality products faster and more reliably.

"Our TestTrack 2008 product line includes incredible new features for
managing defects, change requests, and the software testing process in
quality-centric software development organizations," said Richard Riccetti,
president and CEO, Seapine Software President. "With these releases, we've
dramatically improved automation, organization and collaboration for
software development and quality assurance teams."

Better Development Efficiency through Automation

Workflow automation in all TestTrack 2008 products is even more flexible,
with automatic escalation rules to ensure critical issues receive timely
attention, and event-based triggers that can send emails, modify data, and
run external applications.

Improved Organization of Issues and Tests

The TestTrack 2008 product line includes new organization features, such
tabbed list views, to enable instant switching between different
pre-defined queries and column layouts, and hierarchical folders, to easily
organize issues, test cases, and test runs.

Enhanced Product Development Collaboration

To improve collaboration in product development, the TestTrack 2008
products include RSS feeds, URL access to records, and additional email
support. Users and customers can now subscribe to RSS feeds to stay
informed of changes to issues and tests. URL access lets users include
links to records in emails and on Web sites. Enhanced email support enables
users to automatically track and store email conversations about an issue,
test case, or test run, with the record.

"We have been very impressed with TestTrack Pro 2008," said Mike Berriman,
R&D manager, Gemcom Software international, an early adopter of TestTrack
Pro 2008. "Seapine has taken a good, solid, useful product and made it
significantly better. The quick search and filtering capabilities will make
those processes easier, while the overview tab on each defect is perfect
for those (like us) that use the workflow in somewhat complex ways." A
major upgrade to all three TestTrack products, the new versions also
include improved integration with Surround SCM 2008, user defined list
views, many methods of quickly searching for information, stamping
comments, and more.

Availability and Licensing

TestTrack Pro 2008, TestTrack Pro 2008, and TestTrack Studio 2008 are
available immediately for Microsoft Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris, and Apple
Macintosh operating systems. Licensed TestTrack Pro, TCM, and Studio users
with active support plans are eligible for free upgrades.
