Parallels Desktop update supports 3D gaming, more
Version 3.0 offers cross OS application and file integration with Parallels SmartSelect; offline access to virtual machine files with Parallels Explorer; Coherence 2.0, including shared folders and user interface enhancements; and Linux tools for integration between the Mac OS X and Linux.
There's also enhanced 3D graphics support to play the hottest games and run the most popular applications, as well as expanded support for USB 2.0 devices. Parallels Desktop 3.0 offers shared printers for cross OS printing. YOu can also bulletproof your VMs with a new feature called SnapShots and can control the levels of integration and isolation with the Security Manager.
Parallels Desktop for Mac is a solution for running PC operating systems at the same time as Mac OS X (without re-booting) on Mactel systems. Existing Parallels Desktop for Mac users with auto-update enabled will receive the update automatically. Users who don’t have auto-update enabled can manually download them by clicking “Check for Updates†in the Help tab of the application menu bar, or download them in a single package directly from the [url=http://www.parallels.com/en/download/desktop/]Parallels Download Center[/url].
Upgrading Parallels Desktop for Mac doesn’t require a re-install of any guest operating systems or any applications. After upgrading, users should re-install Parallels Tools. A 15-day trial version of Parallels Desktop for Mac is available here. Registration is US$79.99.
