NET.DREAMS INTRODUCES REMOTE MAIL 1.0

-- First Mac OS Plug-in to Let Webmasters Offer Remote Email Access
via Any Web Browser Anywhere--

ROHNERT PARK, Calif., February 24, 1999 -- Net.Dreams today announced
the immediate availability of Remote Mail 1.0, providing for the
first time access via any Macintosh Web server to POP3 mail servers
from any browser in the world. Now Mac OS Web servers can provide a
seamless bridge to any POP3 email system on the Internet with an easy
to use, customizable W*API-based plug-in. End-users can read and
process their email without any special configuration or client
software, simply by pointing their browser to a Remote Mail-enabled
Web page. Webmasters can use Remote Mail to offer access exclusively
to their own email system, or to any POP3 email system on the
Internet. Available today, Remote Mail is priced at $249, and can be
downloaded at (http://www.netdreams.com/remotemail/).

"I don't know how we were able to do business before Remote Mail!,"
said Ethan Simmons, senior consultant at NetTeks. "Now all of our
consultants are able to access their email from client locations
without having to worry about FireWalls or Proxy servers blocking
access to our email servers."

"Remote Mail provides an easy Web interface to electronic mail,
allowing your users to access their email from any Web browser in the
world," said C.J. Holmes, president of Net.Dreams. "It is perfect for
users of traditional email client software who are away from home and
need to check their mail without deleting messages from the server.
Remote Mail can even handle receiving attachments."

Easy for Users, Secure for You

Remote Mail 1.0 is easy to administer and use. End-users simply enter
their email address and password to read and respond to their email
from any browser that accepts cookies. No special client software or
session configuration is needed. Administrators can completely change
the look and feel of any page generated by Remote Mail with basic
HTML editing.

Administrators can limit the mail server accessed by a particular
Remote Mail-powered page to an organization's own email system.
Remote Mail can also be configured to access any POP3 mail system on
the Internet. Support for MIME attachments is integrated into Remote
Mail, along with wide support for 8-bit character sets.

"Remote Mail is, by far, the best solution because of its excellent
support for 8-bit characters and for the subsequent ability to handle
foreign languages," explained Joakim Jardenberg, CEO of Infinite.SE,
a technical consulting firm known for the Crack-a-Mac campaign. "It
is also the simplest solution to understand, install and maintain.
Remote Mail fills my clients' need for a way to get their email on
the road, and it does this without a hitch. I think it is a perfect
product."

Remote Mail was designed specifically to work well in a 'lab'
environment, where people briefly use public terminals to check their
email, then log off and leave. In developing Remote Mail, the
hightened security considerations of a 'lab' environment were
addressed, resulting in the inclusion of several features to prevent
spamming, unauthorized logins, session hijacking, and message
spoofing.

System Requirements

Remote Mail can be used with WebSTAR, WebTEN and Quid Pro Quo
servers. Remote Mail requires the use of any W*API 1.2-compatible Web
server running on a 68K, PPC or G3 Macintosh, and works with any
browser that accepts cookies to access any POP3 mail server that
supports the optional TOP command.

Pricing and Availability

Remote Mail 1.0 is available immediately for $249 from Net.Dreams'
Web site at (http://www.netdreams.com/). A demonstration version of
Remote Mail is also available at
