Software provides graphing power above and beyond everyday graphing solutions

CHICAGO -- - It's easy to make your graphics stand out now that SPSS
Inc. is shipping DeltaGraph 4.5 for Macintosh. With 11 new chart
types, DeltaGraph's 80+ chart types and 200+ chart styles enable
users in general business, marketing communications, research,
science, education and engineering to create customized,
publication-ready charts with ease. Added support for popular
programs such as Excel 98, Word, PageMakerTM, Quark XPress and
Adobe PhotoShop helps DeltaGraph users easily add charting power to
almost any application's data.

"The improvements to this version can be attributed to the customer
feedback that we have received since acquiring this product in 1997,"
said DeltaGraph Product Manager Chris Gregory. "Users from all
industries can bring the power of professional charting to their
desktop with DeltaGraph's wide selection of chart types and styles.
And the high level of customization enables users to create graphs
that clearly communicate their message."

Key new features in DeltaGraph 4.5 for Macintosh include:

Eleven new chart types - With a total of 80+ chart types and 200+
chart styles, DeltaGraph enables users from all industries to clearly
tell a story with the right chart for their data.

Easily import data from Excel 98 and other popular applications - New
applications include Excel 98, Microsoft Excel 3.0 - 5.0 and Trapeze.

Create press-ready color with PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM - PANTONE,
the standard color matching system in the graphic arts and publishing
industries, is now included in DeltaGraph, saving users time by
creating press-ready color for every project.
More graphic file support - New import support allows users to pull
graphics from MacPaint, QuickDraw GX (when installed), Adobe
Photoshop, Silicon Graphics, GIF, Windows Bitmap, PNG and Targa. This
version of DeltaGraph also enables users to export files to QuickTime
Image File, Adobe PhotoShop, JPEG and Windows Bitmap.

Save time with AppleScript - DeltaGraph provides AppleScript
support, helping users to automate routine tasks, such as regular
updates of graphs and charts. Users can plot a chart from Excel data
(or other popular spreadsheet or database applications) and
distribute the results with a single command.

Additional tools include - enhanced automation features, Apple
Navigation Manager, QuickTime 3 and compatibility with MacOS 8.5.

Users who create monthly reports, research or any projects that
require graphing depend on DeltaGraph for its unmatched formatting
power. DeltaGraph provides access to chart types that are not
available in spreadsheets, data analysis or other programs. The Chart
Advisor can help users select chart types or create and quickly find
an arsenal of custom chart templates with the Visual Library.
DeltaGraph's flexibility enables users to color, manipulate and
customize every element in a graph. And completed DeltaGraph charts
are ready for publication in almost any format, including paper
reports, electronic presentations, professionally published materials
or the Web (including Internet, intranet and extranet capabilities).

SPSS acquired DeltaGraph from DeltaPoint, Inc. in June 1997.
DeltaGraph's extensive data visualization capabilities have caught
the eye of industry leaders, resulting in numerous awards, including
MacWorld's prestigious Editor's Choice and World Class awards.
