Mac-compatible UPS OnLine Tools Shipping Solution is ready for FileMaker Pro 8

immediate availability of an update to it's parcel shipment solution for
Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.

Just in time for the busy holiday shipping season, this update provides
enhanced functionality based on nearly a year of real-world usage. The
Package Toolkit integrates UPS OnLine Tools directly into a FileMaker Pro
7/8 compatible database. Customers using the integrated solution can easily
access critical shipping information without having to leave FileMaker Pro
or go to the UPS web site to re- key data, import/export, use UPS WorldShip
on a PC or setup complex ODBC data exchange.

Direct hardware support is provided for equipment provided as part of the
UPS Customer Technology Program. On both Mac OS X and Windows, weights can
be captured via Mettler-Toledo PS 60 or Fairbanks Ultegra digital scales,
and labels can be output to Zebra/Eltron thermal printers or any laser
printer.

With the Package Toolkit -- you can easily access a wide range of UPS
functionality to provide a seamless workflow for shipping and tracking of
parcel shipments:

UPS Tracking provides shipping status to online customers. Customers can
determine status of their shipments, including the time and location of
each scan as the package moves toward its final destination.

UPS Rates & Services Selection lets online shoppers compare, price and
select UPS shipping services that best fit their needs and budgets. For
single packages, this tool identifies UPS domestic and international
services and displays published shipping rates based on package
specifications.

UPS Time in Transit displays UPS shipping services within the United
States, with their associated scheduled delivery time, date and days in
transit. This tool also provides the city and state names associated with
the origin or destination postal codes.

UPS Address Validation alerts customers with an error message if an
improper address has been entered. This tool ensures errors are corrected
at the point of entry -- long before orders leave the shipping dock.

UPS Shipping provides greater control over shipping processes throughout
multiple offices, branches, dealers or retail stores. This product is a
simple, secure and cost-effective way to process and ship UPS packages.
Label output can be easily customized to meet client's needs and can be
printed to a variety of output devices.
