eAuthorize Advanced is a FileMaker plug-in which extends the capability of
FileMaker Server Advanced by providing a method for securely processing
credit cards and electronic checks directly from your FileMaker powered
website. eAuthorize Advanced connects to an online payment gateway via the
Internet and processes payments instantly. The plug-in is currently Windows
only with a Mac version anticipated later in the year.
The included PHP and XSLT examples demonstrate how eAuthorize Advanced
allows you to integrate payment processing directly into a website through
the power of FileMaker Advanced Server. eAuthorize Advanced provides
significant advantages when you design a FileMaker database solution that
must handle online sales, payments, inventory, order fulfillment, etc.
With eAuthorize Advanced you can pass the customer's payment information to
the gateway and receive an immediate authorization response back. The
response will indicate if the transaction was accepted or declined. A
FileMaker powered website with the eAuthorize Advanced plug-in can be
designed to act according to the responses from the real-time transactions.
With the click of your customer's mouse, his or her order can automatically
go into processing the moment after payment is taken.
Using eAuthorize Advanced, it is possible to:
- Authorize & Capture funds
- Authorize Only (to capture the funds at later time)
- Credit and Void transactions
- Process transactions using address verification (AVS)
- Process transactions using card code verification (CVV2)
- Handle credit cards or electronic checks
- Send any parameters accepted by the gateway for even further functionality
