Version 19.1 of Oxygen XML Editor products released
Syncro Soft, the developer of the Oxygen XML suite of products, has announced version 19.1 of its XML editing suite of products, Oxygen XML Editor, Author, Developer, Web Author, WebHelp, as well as the new Oxygen PDF Chemistry. Version 19.1 brings “a variety of new features and improvements that focus on productivity, performance, efficiency, and simplicity,” according to the folks at Syncro Soft. Quark Announces Update to InDesign Exporter for App Studio
Quark has released InDesign Exporter 3.01, the App Studio plug-in that is now compatible with Adobe InDesign CC2017. The completely redesigned plug-in has an improved user interface and enhanced performance with App Studio publishing. Users can download the new plug-in for free from Adobe Exchange Add-ons. iMovie 10.1.7 for Mac adds HEVC support
iMovie for macOS has ben updated, adding support for importing video in the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) format made possible by macOS High Sierra. It also improves compatibility when sharing to YouTube. iMovie 10.1.7 is available at the Mac App Store. Support for the industry-standard HEVC (H.265) enables video streaming and playback of 4K video files up to 40% smaller than with the current H.264 standar. LinkOptimizer for Adobe InDesign Now Supports macOS High Sierra
Zevrix Solutions has released LinkOptimizer 5.2, a compatibility update to its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. LinkOptimizer can automatically resize InDesign links to their final dimensions at specific target resolution. The app can also assign colors profiles, perform image adjustments and convert file formats. The new version makes LinkOptimizer a 64-bit app and introduces support for the upcoming macOS 10.13 High Sierra. LinkOptimizer can be purchased from the Zevrix website (www.zevrix.com) for $259.95 (there’s a “lite” version for $179.95). A demo is available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 5.x users and $130 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer requires macOS 10.7-10.13 and Adobe InDesign/Photoshop CS5-CC 2017.

Paragon Software Group Releases New Edition of Paragon CampTune
Paragon Software Group (PSG) has released a new edition of Paragon CampTune, a utility for redistribution of disk space between HFS+ or APFS (Apple File System) and NTFS partitions on macOS systems. With just one slider, dual-boot users can instantly allocate more disk space to either macOS or Windows operating systems. Paragon CampTune is the first Paragon macOS product to support Apple’s APFS. The update also offers a host of new features, including System Integrity Protection (SIP) management, which allows users to selectively disable individual parameters for this security option.
