Apple releases second macOS Sierra 10.12.2 public beta
Apple has released the second beta of an upcoming macOS Sierra 10.12.2 update to public beta testers about a week after releasing the first public beta of 10.12.2 and one day after seeding the second beta to developers. If you're not already signed up for the public beta program, you can do sign up at .https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/ . The public beta program is free, but remember: beta software is unfinished software so use with care.

MacStadium establishes European HQ in Dublin
MacStadium (MacStadium.com), the Mac hosting authority and only provider of Mac Pro private cloud infrastructure-as-a-service around the world, has established its first European data center and international headquarters in Dublin, creating 35 information technology jobs over the course of three years. MacStadium, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, ranked #44 on the 2016 Inc. 5000. The creation of the company's international headquarters in Dublin will allow for further growth of its EMEA client base. Output Factory for InDesign gets Creative Cloud 2017 support
Zevrix Solutions has announced Output Factory 1.5.60, a compatibility update to its output automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory automates printing, exporting and post-processing from InDesign and offers batch processing, export as single pages, variable file names, layer versioning, preflighting, detailed history and more. Version 1.5.60 makes Output Factory compatible with the the recently released InDesign CC 2017 and improves the reliability of TIFF export on network volumes. Nisus Software releases Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.6 for macOS
Nisus Software has announced Nisus Writer Pro 2.1.6, an upgrade of their word processor for the Mac. Version 2.1.6 contains a number of fixes that improve compatibility with macOS Sierra. This release also solves a problem where using the system's Markup feature on an image would incorrectly remove that image. Plus, version 2.1.6 restores LinkBack functionality for OmniGraffle (version 7.1 or later required). Nisus Writer requires macOS 10.8.5 or above. Muijo announces limited edition, laptop Wooden Case
It’s Muijo’s fifth anniversary and for the occasion, the company has designed and produced a limited run of 50 Wooden Cases – with 10 representing each year of Mujjo (www.muijo.com). The case is made by hand in Greece. Muijo used reclaimed American Walnut veneer, taken from the furniture industry. AKVIS (www.akvis.com) has introduced Magnifier 9.0, an update of the tool for increasing image resolution. macOS and Windows compatible, the new version offers more configurability and customization options including the expanded pixel limit, new resolution values, support for Ultra HD, and other improvements. Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2016 fourth quarter that ended Sept. 24. The company posted quarterly revenue of $46.9 billion and quarterly net income of $9 billion, or $1.67 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $51.5 billion and net income of $11.1 billion, or $1.96 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 38% compared to 39.9% in the year-ago quarter.
