Stairways Software releases Keyboard Maestro 7.1 for OS X

Apple announces posted quarterly revenue of $50.6 billion
Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2016 second quarter that ended March 26. The company posted quarterly revenue of $50.6 billion and quarterly net income of $10.5 billion, or $1.90 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $58 billion and net income of $13.6 billion, or $2.33 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 39.4% compared to 40.8% in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 67% of the quarter’s revenue. “Our team executed extremely well in the face of strong macroeconomic headwinds,” said CEO Tim Cook. “We are very happy with the continued strong growth in revenue from Services, thanks to the incredible strength of the Apple ecosystem and our growing base of over one billion active devices.” The company also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized an increase of $50 billion to its program to return capital to shareholders. Zevrix Solutions (www.zevrix.com) has announced LinkOptimizer 4.9.57, a maintenance update to its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. The software allows users to reduce the size of InDesign links and speed up processing by automatically eliminating excess image data, performing essential image adjustments and converting colors and file formats. Jumsoft has introduced Infographics for Pages 2.7, an upgrade of its design app for Pages for OS X. Adapted from one of the company’s visualization tools, Infographics for Page offers over 2,000 diagrams, maps, and other visualization elements. Kronos releases OpenCL 2.2 provisional spec
The Khronos Group, an open consortium of hardware and software companies, has announced the availability of the OpenCL 2.2, SYCL 2.2 and SPIR-V 1.1 provisional specifications. OpenCL 2.2 incorporates the OpenCL C++ kernel language for enhanced parallel programming productivity. SYCL 2.2 enables host and device code to be contained in a single source file, while leveraging the full power of OpenCL C++. SPIR-V 1.1 extends the intermediate representation defined by Khronos with native support for shader and compute kernel features to fully support the OpenCL C++ kernel language. Excel Software (www.excelsoftware.com) has announced QLRT Xcode 3.0 for Objective-C and Swift developers creating Mac OS X software.   QLRT Xcode is a static library containing the QuickLicense runtime software for protection, activation and license management. Date Time Calc for OS X upgraded to version 2.1
Tension Software (www.tensionsoftware.com) has updated Date Time Calc for Mac OS X to version 2.1. It’s an app to calculate future and past dates by adding a date interval and to calculate date difference between two assigned dates. You can add or subtract to dates, years, months, and days — or add or subtract days, hours , minutes and seconds to guess future and past date-times. You can also calculate difference between two dates using calendar specification (years, months and days) or using a time precision method specifying date and time and obtaining a difference in days, hours, minutes and seconds. With version 2.1, the log can collect and save all the calculation you need to record using a command button. Also, at any time you can clean the log by resetting it.
