It will name your screenshot according to the snapped window's name, or alternatively gives you the option to manually choose the destination folder and rename the screenshot before it is saved. If you don't want to save the screenshot, you can snap it directly to your clipboard. In version 1.3, users can now select their default folder.

Apple announces donation plan for U.S. national parks
Apple has introduced new ways customers can enjoy and support America’s national parks next month.
From July 1 through 15, Apple is donating $1 to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made with Apple Pay at any Apple Store, on apple.com or through the Apple Store app in the US. Apple Pay is accepted at select locations in some of the most popular national parks, from Yellowstone and Yosemite to the Grand Canyon and Muir Woods National Monument.
“America’s national parks are an inspiration to us at Apple, and we know they are as important to many of our customers as they are to us,” says Apple CEO Tim Cook. “Our goal is to leave the world better than we found it, so this July we’re making it easier for anyone to help preserve the beauty of our natural, cultural and historical treasures.”

Apple’s first store in Taiwan opens Saturday
Apple Taipei 101 opens Saturday at 11 a.m., bringing Apple’s products, services and in-store experiences to customers in Taiwan for the first time.

Users can save any content from their clipboard, websites and more. SnipNotes categorizes notes automatically based on their content and provides a set of actions for each type. SnipNotes takes advantage of many Mac technologies such as Handoff and the new Touch Bar.

Chronos announces six major app upgrades and a special offer

Apple has released second developer betas of iOS 11, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, watchOS 4, tvOS 11 and and Xcode 9. Developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center or the Software Update mechanism in the App Store.
