Apple has introduced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which feature advanced camera systems, the best battery life ever in an iPhone, stereo speakers, a wide color system from camera to display, and two new finishes.

Super Mario Run running onto iOS devices this December
Nintendo says Mario will star in Super Mario Run, a full-sized Super Mario Bros. action platformer that has been developed specifically for mobile, and will be available first on the Apple App Store this December.
In the game, Mario runs forward on his own, but relies on the touch of a single finger to jump over obstacles, avoid pesky enemies and capture the flag pole to complete levels. Super Mario Run has a mode in which the player collects coins and heads for the goal, and a mode in which the player competes against the acrobatic moves of other people who have completed the same course. In addition, there is a mode in which you create your own Mushroom Kingdom based upon these play results.
iOS users will be able to download and enjoy a portion of Super Mario Run for free and will be able to enjoy all of the game content available in this release after paying a set purchase price. More details will be disclosed at a later date.

Apple has released the eighth beta of macOS Sierra for developers and the seventh beta for public beta testers. The final version is due this fall.

Apple announces special event for Sept. 7
Press invitations have gone out for an Apple event to be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. (Pacific). The invite reads “See you on the 7th.”
The iPhone 7 is almost certain to be announced at the event. An Apple Watch 2 is likely to debut. Also possible is a revamped MacBook Pro line-up. This is the fifth consecutive year Apple has held an early-September product event.

Apple has released the eighth beta of iOS 10 to developers and the seven beta for public beta testers. The finished version of the operating system is due this fall.

AIC to launch all-flash VMware Virtual SAN Ready Node solutions
AIC (www.aicpc.com) will demonstrate its new all-flash VMware Virtual SAN Ready Node Solution at VMworld 2016 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas beginning Aug. 28. The new line of all-flash array hardware is built with memory and solid-state disks (SSDs) from Micron along with SAS host bus adapters from ATTO.
