TL;DR: Sign, edit, and export scanned documents from your phone with an iScanner lifetime subscription for $24.97 (MSRP $199.90) through October 25.

A desktop scanner only helps when you’re sitting next to it. iScanner turns your iPhone or iPad into a document scanner and PDF editor, and a lifetime subscription is on sale for $24.97 (MSRP $199.90) through October 25.

Point your camera at a contract, receipt, or handwritten note, and iScanner finds the page edges, straightens out curves and skew, and recognizes text in more than 20 languages. From there, you can export the scan as a PDF, JPG, DOC, XLS, PPT, or TXT file.

Before you send anything, the built-in editor lets you sign the page, blur an account number, fill in a form, or merge several scans into one PDF. Tax forms and ID scans can go in folders locked with a PIN. With the same camera, iScanner also solves math problems, measures objects, counts similar items, and reads QR codes.

You’ll need iOS or iPadOS 16 or later, and 200MB of cloud storage comes with the plan. This deal is for new users only and isn’t available in several countries, including Spain, Italy, Mexico, and Japan.

Scan documents from your iPhone instead of hunting for a scanner.

Until October 25 at 11:59pm Pacific, you can get an iScanner App lifetime subscription on sale for $24.97 (MSRP $199.90).
