XPLAIN ANNOUNCES EXPANDED SPECIAL INTEREST PAVILIONS
-- Many companies new to Macworld Conference & Expo
-- MWNY 2002 Pavilions even larger than both MWNY 2001 & MWSF 2002

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA -- July 15, 2002 -- Xplain Corporation, the leader in
pavilion management, announced today that the six Special Interest
Pavilions at IDG World Expo's Macworld Conference & Expo, in New York (July
15-19, 2002), are bigger and have many products new to the Macintosh. These
special interest pavilions allow exhibitors to target attendees interested
in particular technology categories.

Macworld Conference & Expo is the world's most comprehensive Macintosh OS
event. The upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo will take place July 15-19,
2002 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. To
register, see more information at (http://www.macworldexpo.com/)

Special Interest Pavilions have long featured both up-and-coming companies,
as well as showcased technologies. These pavilions provide exhibiting
companies with a cost-effective, turnkey method to reach their target
audiences face-to-face without requiring a large staff or display. In turn,
attendees with particular interests can experience first-hand the very
latest Macintosh technology for specific market segments in a cohesive
setting.

Macworld Conference & Expo, New York 2002, has 51 companies in the
pavilions. Not only does the special interest pavilions have more
companies than last New York's expo (July, 2001), but there are more
companies than San Francisco's expo (Jan, 2002).

A complete list of companies, with descriptions, is located at
(http://www.xplain.com/pavilions/mwny2002/MWNY2002_Participants.html)

The six pavilions contain a number of new companies that have never
exhibited before at any Macworld. And, for those returning companies, many
are releasing new products on the first day of the show. Attendees can
stop by for more information.

The pavilions are located in Booth #2023. For more information on Macworld
Conference & Expo, see http://www.macworldexpo.com
