WOWODC 2008: Annual WebObjects Conference this June 7-8

Montreal, CA -- Mar 31, 2008 - Montreal, Canada - The WebObjects Community
Association, BoxOffice Tickets and OS communications informatiques are
delighted to announce WOWODC 2008, the annual conference dedicated to
Apple's WebObjects Web development framework. WebObjects is a powerful,
elegant, and proven web application framework that doesn't trade agility
for scalability, or elegance for capability. Think of WebObjects as Cocoa
and CoreData for the web.

This two day event will be held on June 7th and 8th, right before WWDC, at
the beautiful Parc 55 Hotel in San Franscico. Lunch and breaks (snacks,
coffee, etc) will be served each day. The sessions will be recorded and
provided to attendees. Non-attendees may purchase the recordings. Join them
for two days of learning and discussion hosted by the WebObjects
community's leading experts.

Feature highlights include:

* Developer tools -
Developers learn how to get the most out of WOLips and how to profile and
debug their apps.

* Third-party frameworks -
Using WebObjects is great, but with third-party frameworks, it's even better.

* Best Practices -
WebObjects experts offer real world advice on how to get the most out of
WebObjects, advanced EOF tips.

* Localization -
In a time of globalization, learn how to leverage localization in
WebObjects apps to support other languages and countries.

* AJAX -
No longer just a household cleanser, this buzzword has the potential to
make clients, users, and the boss, very happy. Learn how easy it is to
"ajaxify" apps.

* Non-HTML apps and WebObjects -
WebObjects is not only for HTML. Learn how to build iPhone-ready Web apps,
talk to Cocoa by JSON-RPC, and use Adobe Flex.

* JavaClient and JBND -
Learn how to use JBND to bind Java Swing apps with WebObjects and
client-side EOF.

* WebObjects Puzzlers -
Developers can test their skills. Be ready to compile code in real-time.

Pre-Registration:
Online pre-registration is available through BoxOffice Tickets starting
March 31, 2008. Tickets are $350 USD ($367.50 USD if paid by cheque).
