WORLDSYNC, INC. SHIPS NEW SYNCDEK DEVELOPER KIT FOR MAC OS X

--New SyncDeK Developer Tool with Set-up Assistants Streamlines Creation a=
nd
Maintenance of Powerful SyncDeK Data Synchronization for FileMaker Pro 6
and 7--

BERKELEY, Calif., June 14, 2004 - WorldSync, Inc. today shipped its new
SyncDeK(R) Developer Kit on Mac OS X(R), with Windows(R) XP and 2000 in publ=
ic
beta, now providing an environment for configuring, testing, deploying and
maintaining FileMaker(R) solutions using the new SyncDeK 5.0 data
synchronization technology, also announced today (see related release).

SyncDeK Developer Kit includes the new SyncDeK Developer Tool for configurat=
ion
and maintenance, two set-up assistants for creating and editing the solution=
's
replication and Version Update Management (VUM) settings, access to an
unlimited
number of temporary activation keys for node set-up and testing, and more.
Available immediately on Mac OS X directly from (http://www.worldsync.com/),
SyncDeK Developer Kit is introductory priced at US$499 (regularly US$749)
through July 31, 2004. SyncDeK Developer Kit for Windows XP and Windows 2000=
is
currently in beta testing.

"SyncDeK Developer Kit provides FileMaker consultants and in-house developer=
s
the tools they need to include data replication capabilities in their deploy=
ed
solutions," explained Jason Erickson, founder and CEO of WorldSync, Inc. "T=
he
new SyncDeK Developer Tool gives developers an easy environment for configur=
ing
and testing replication-enabled solutions. The tool's unique VUM capabilitie=
s
make it easy for developers to distribute maintenance updates to deployed
solutions. Simple changes, like a new layout, can even be published by the
customer directly using the copy of the developer tool which comes with eith=
er
of the SyncDeK 5 starter kits."

SyncDeK Developer Kit simplifies deploying distributed database configuratio=
ns
that include SyncDeK Single-user Engines and SyncDeK Network Engines, also
announced today on both Mac OS X and Windows=AE platforms (see related relea=
se).
Designed for use by remote sites and mobile workers, often working offline,
SyncDeK combines the power of Java-based background services with the
flexibility of ubiquitous Internet communication protocols to sync XML data.
SyncDeK provides field-level conflict detection and resolution, and is scala=
ble
across client/client, client/server or server/server solutions.

"Including additional equipment, one project's costs to link eight branches =
via
SyncDeK will pay itself back within months," said Glenn Singleton, beta test=
er
and IT Manager of Cornerstone ICT. "We're very excited by the prospects beca=
use
it removes every restriction of high communication costs. Even clients in sm=
all
country towns can now have technology that was only possible with products l=
ike
Lotus Notes but with the ease of use of the SyncDeK environment. SyncDeK is
much
simpler for incorporating synchronization into our existing bound applicatio=
ns
or our consulting projects than the combination of all other tools on the
market."

Simple Set-up, Advanced Developer Features
The SyncDeK Developer Tool provides a mechanism for "offline" development.
FileMaker developers can generate fully functional, 30-day test activation=
keys
from within the tool to set-up and test SyncDeK nodes before deployment.
Updates
to a database schema, layouts and community structure also replicate
through the
VUM module. SyncDeK Developer Tool and FileMaker Developer work together to
create sync-enabled "bound," or runtime, applications.

SyncDeK Developer Tool includes two set-up assistants - one assistant
streamlines the original configuration process, and the other streamlines
maintenance. The conditional setting for allowing VUM is included in the
maintenance-oriented set-up assistant. Configuration is completed in six
screens
even for fairly complex multi-hub-and-spoke data replication installations.
Encryption is selected from the standard Java cryptography extensions, and c=
an
be extended via an API.

Compatibility, Pricing and Availability
For a limited time, SyncDeK Developer Kit is introductory priced at US$499
(regularly US$749). SyncDeK Developer Kit is available today on Mac OS X for
configuring, testing and deploying SyncDeK Single-user Engines and SyncDeK
Network Engines on both Mac OS X and Windows XP and 2000.

SyncDeK Single-user Engines and SyncDeK Network Engines are also available
today
(see related release) compatible with FileMaker Pro 6 and 7, and FileMaker
Server 6 and 7. For deployment, a SyncDeK Single-user Engine is introductor=
y
priced at US$199 (regularly US$249), and a SyncDeK Network Engine is
introductory priced at US$699 (regularly US $849). Combinations of SyncDeK
engines are also included in two available "starter kits" which are
introductory
priced at US$1299 (regularly US$1499).

All introductory prices are in effect through July 31, 2004. SyncDeK and
SyncDeK Developer Kit are sold and supported directly by WorldSync, Inc. at
(http://www.worldsync.com/). Fully functional evaluation packages are availa=
ble
by contacting (sales@worldsync.com).
