industry, announced the new Macintosh Driver v3.0 to support Mac OS X,
Apple's next generation operating system.

The new Macintosh driver version 3.0 will be available when Mac OS X ship
in early 2001, and will facilitate all Macintosh developers secure software
protection using the copy protection system WIBU-KEY. The new functions of
WIBU-KEY are inside the newly developed driver and will be available for
both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X (CFM and Mach-O). This driver will be 100%
identical with the v3.0 Windows drivers and offers thus the same functions
as under Windows. WIBU-SYSTEMS is the unique software protection
manufacturer providing a USB hardware for platform independent usage on the
PC, the Macintosh and heterogeneous networks.
Encrypting and decrypting software is done via the WIBU-BOX/U for the USB
interface and is easy to use and free of problems for the user. The license

number of the licenses. Other features are pay-per-use or remote
