FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - VR Toolbox, Inc.

VR TOOLBOX, INC. ANNOUNCES UPGRADE TO VERSION 2.0 OF "THE VR WORX."

Pittsburgh, PA, August 7, 2000 -- VR Toolbox, Inc. today officially
announced it is offering upgrades to The VR Worx 2.0 for all registered
users of VR Toolbox products. Owners of The VR Worx 1.0 and those who own
all three of the stand-alone products are able to upgrade to version 2.0
for only $79.99 + S&H (SRP is $299.99). Upgrade paths for those who own one
or two stand-alone products (VR PanoWorx, VR ObjectWorx, and/or VR
SceneWorx)can be obtained from
(mailto:sales@vrtoolbox.com)sales@vrtoolbox.com or by calling
1-877-878-6657 toll free.

The VR Worx is VR Toolbox's award-winning suite of authoring tools for
QuickTime VR, and the new version, 2.0, is now available for both
Macintosh and Windows platforms. The VR Worx 2.0, which recently had its
debut at Macworld Expo in New York, has more features and greater
functionality than any other QTVR authoring tool on the market. MacUser
Magazine in the UK named The VR Worx 1.0 runner up for "Best Multimedia
Software for 1999." This version is sure to get even greater accolades in
the year to come. It creates panoramic movies, object movies and multi-node
scenes (a.k.a. virtual tours), all in the QuickTime format.

Walter Neals, Vice President for Marketing at VR Toolbox noted, "We want
our users to be assured that each time we come out with a new product or
update, we will offer an upgrade that is generous and affordable. We have a
great respect for our users and want everyone to stay current with the
latest in QuickTime VR technology. Just as we did when we introduced The VR
Worx 1.0, we have designed an upgrade path for everyone, even if they only
own one copy of VR SceneWorx."

The VR Worx 2.0 has an abundance of new features. One of the more
impressive is the ability to generate an Object Movie that has the Object
within a Panoramic background, called Object in Pano. And answering a
strongly voiced desire on the part of users, version 2.0 is scriptable via
AppleScript on the MacOS and Visual Basic scripts on Windows. The VR
Worx extends its extensive versatility and unparalleled functionality in
the realm of Multi-node Scenes, by adding eleven Transitions, including
Cross Fade, Wipe, Zoom, Radial and Iris. Those who like to work with large
images will be pleased with the ability to Import and Export panoramic
images at sizes up to 10,000 x 3,000 pixels. The list goes on with a
substantial amount of refinement to an already robust program, as well.

The VR Worx 2.0 Upgrade can be purchased by contacting
(mailto:sales@vrtoolbox.com) or by calling 1-877-878-6657 toll free.

QuickTime VR has become one of the most important assets the user can have
in their software arsenal, bringing an unparalleled level of interactivity
and motion to web design and multimedia productions. As in all the VR
Toolbox products, The VR Worx 2.0 allows the user to create interactive
QuickTime VR movies quickly, simply and professionally, with any kind of
camera...film, digital and video. And two-platform companies can take real
advantage of The VR Worx 2.0 being cross platform, since projects started
on Windows can be completed on the Mac OS and vice versa.

The VR Worx v2.0 comes on a hybrid CD-ROM, which includes a 260 page
printed manual, complete with various tutorials, as well as an addendum
that covers the new features in 2.0. Apple's QuickTime 4.0 and Adobe
Acrobat Reader 4.0 are included on the CD-ROM. The VR Worx has a
manufacturer's suggested list price of $299.99. http://www.vrtoolbox.com.
