ThinkFree Online, New Free Web Service, Gives Consumers A Complete
Productivity Suite to Help Manage Life's Tasks

ThinkFree's new service for document creation and sharing provides
compatibility with Microsoft Office, plus file sharing, blog publishing, 1
GB storage and other tools to enhance communicating with family, friends
and colleagues

San Jose, Calif. -- ThinkFree, Inc., a provider of office productivity
software, today announced ThinkFree Online, a free Web service that gives
busy families, students and business professionals an easy way to manage
tasks and keep everyone up-to-date.

ThinkFree Online is the first Internet-based office productivity suite to
blend the best of the Internet's collaboration features with Microsoft
Office suite compatibility. Novice users and IT enthusiasts alike will find
the three applications -- ThinkFree Write for word processing, ThinkFree
Calc for spreadsheet management and ThinkFree Show for creating
presentations -- intuitive to learn and use. Simply register at
(http://www.thinkfree.com/)www.thinkfree.com to begin experiencing the
suite's unique set of creativity and communications tools for connecting
with family, friends and business colleagues.

Key features of ThinkFree Online include:

- Collaborative capabilities for group document editing and file sharing
- Document tagging to allow optimal organization and categorization
- 1 GB of free upgradeable online storage
- Ability to publish documents to a Web page, blog or Internet application
- Easy insertion of images through Flickr, the online photo management
community, to share more vivid personal images of life events
- Ability to set different collaboration levels, from completely private to
accessible by anyone on the Web
- Consistent user interface regardless of computing platform
- Ajax and Java technology support, which gives users the ability to do
quick edits as well as power edits for more complex documents

ThinkFree Online offers easy integration with existing Microsoft Office
documents without the need to reformat, learn a new application or install
any new software on the user's device. It provides support for multiple
operating systems -- Windows, Macintosh and Linux -- and multiple Web
browsers*, making it an ideal solution for students, business travelers and
others who use shared or multiple computers.

Breaking down geographical barriers by delivering a truly collaborative
suite, ThinkFree Online unleashes the power of sharing ideas, stories and
business content from any Internet-enabled device, at any time. Business
users can say goodbye to e-mailing documents home or carrying their files
and applications around with them. For consumers, ThinkFree Online provides
a great tool for managing wedding planning details across the miles,
sharing recipes, publishing club newsletters or collaborating on projects
for their church or social group.

"Users now have a very accessible, very easy-to-use online productivity
suite that helps them be more organized, more creative, and to more easily
share their work using the collaborative capabilities of the Internet,"
said TJ Kang, founder and CEO of ThinkFree, Inc. "ThinkFree Online is the
product of our vision to provide a Microsoft Office-compatible suite that
the whole world can take advantage of from any device that is connected to
the Internet."

The Web interface is localized for U.S. English. Built-in multi-lingual
application support is included for UK English, French, German, Italian,
Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, simplified and traditional Chinese, and
Japanese.

Recommended hardware includes 100 MB free hard disk space to use ThinkFree
Online Power Edit features. Macintosh G4/G5 systems are recommended for
Apple users.

*ThinkFree Online has been tested on most computers and browsers, including
Internet Explorer 6.0 FireFox 1.5 and Safari 2.0. Operating systems
supported include Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, Mac OS X 10.4, Linux
