SubRosaSoft.com LLC. announces the immediate availability of version 4.2 of
the Salvage line of products. The latest generation of the Mac OS X
software adds improved accuracy in salvaging, more file type support,
faster shredding, and MP3 file name recovery.

SubRosaSoft FileSalvage is an extremely powerful Mac OS X application for
data recovery. SubRosaSoft's Salvage software are device and file system
independent. The software will retrieve deleted files and rescue data from
corrupted media. Most media devices are supported: Mac OS/PC/Linux hard
drives, iPods USB keys, FLASH cards, CDs, DVDs, and almost any other media
that your Mac can recognize.

"The latest version of FileSalvage features an improvement in the recovery
engine," said Ben Slaney, senior engineer for SubRosaSoft.com. Not only
does it recover more file formats such as the new mail format found in
Tiger (OS X 10.4), After Effects, TurboTax, and Flash, it will do so more
accurately and minimize the chance of corruption."

"The latest Salvage products sport an improved file shredding rountine,"
explained Marko Kostyrko, CEO for SubRosaSoft.com. "Salvage now shreds free
space a lot faster. With powerful data recovery software such as the
Salvage line of products, the shredding process is particularly important
if your Mac is to be shared among a few users, or you are selling it, or
disposing of it."

"The new version of FileSalvage and PodSalvage can also recover the names
of your MP3 files," said Marko Kostyrko, CEO of SubRosaSoft.com. "It is one
of the most requested features based on our customer's feedback and I am
glad we are able to deliver the feature with the latest version."

Even with such features and the performance, FileSalvage is extremely easy
to use. Salvage's easy-to-use interface is designed for all OS X users. The
whole recovery operation can be completed with a few clicks.

* Risk free trial version - see what data can be recovered before you purchase.

* File preview - see what you are going to get before you recover your
deleted file.

* Easy-to-use interface - reduces the data recovery process to a few clicks.

* Device and file system independent - allows recovery from third party
imaging tools.

* Free space eraser - permanently erases the free space on your volume in a
secure fashion.

* Works on faulty hardware - recovers data from mechanically unsound disks
or corrupted devices.

* Detailed logging - all operations and details can now be logged to text
file to be included with the evidence.
