ALADDIN SYSTEMS SHIPS SPRING CLEANING 4.0.1 FRENCH AND GERMAN- TAKING
ADVANTAGE OF MAC OS X

Available Now, The #1 Uninstaller for the Macintosh Boasts Tools Designed
for Mac OS X and Expanded Internet File Cleanup for Improved Ease-of-Use
and Innovative Cleaning

Watsonville, CA - September 25, 2001 - Aladdin Systems, Inc., a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Aladdin Systems Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: ALHI),
today announced Spring Cleaning(tm) 4.0.1 is now shipping in French, German
and English, with Mac OS X support. Spring Cleaning, the leading
uninstaller for the Macintosh, provides customers with 15 powerful cleaning
utilities to help users safely and easily remove hard drive and Internet
clutter to reclaim disk space and increase their Mac's performance.

"With the adoption of Mac OS X, and users' concerns over Internet privacy,
our customers' needs were the driving force behind Spring Cleaning's
redesign," said Jonathan Kahn, Aladdin Systems' CEO. "With its enhanced
cleaning options, Spring Cleaning 4.0.1 offers the most thorough cleaning
solution for every Macintosh user."

"We created Mac OS X to be a first-class modern operating system, and it's
the only operating system that ships a single version supporting seven of
the most widely used languages in the world, allowing Mac developers and
users worldwide to take advantage of Mac OS X right out of the box," said
Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations "We
are thrilled to see products like Aladdin Systems' Spring Cleaning on Mac
OS X in various languages, and version 4.0.1 in French and German are great
additions to the product line."

SPRING CLEANING 4.0.1 NEW FEATURES AND BENEFITS Completely redesigned for
Mac OS X, Spring Cleaning 4.0.1 takes advantage of many features of the new
OS.

* CookieEditor , also available in iClean(tm), allows users to save
disk space and protect their privacy by deleting Internet cookies
they don't want and keeping those they do.
* Mail Cleaner finds unwanted and duplicate attachments hidden
unknowingly by users' email programs.
* AccessMonitor, developed specifically for Mac OS X users, provides
a quick and easy way for users to find files by their last access
date, so they can later decide whether the files are still important
to keep.
* QuickCompare, also just for Mac OS X, displays the differences
between similar files, giving users an easy way to identify which
files should be removed.
* Standard and Advanced Modes are two new user interfaces offering
different levels of cleaning. Standard Mode helps guide users by
categorizing searches via cleaning tasks: Cleanup, Maintenance,
Organize, and Internet. Advanced Mode provides access to all of
Spring Cleaning's searches, giving an experienced user greater
cleaning flexibility.

ADDITIONAL SPRING CLEANING BENEFITS
* iClean(tm), a stand-alone, desktop cleaning tool, cleans out
Internet cookies, cache, and history files; reattaches aliases; and
empties the Trash.
* Fifteen powerful cleaning utilities scour a user's hard drive to
completely remove old and unwanted applications; files; folders;
fonts; Internet clutter; orphaned aliases; damaged files; and more.
* Restore allows users to reverse actions and restore items to
previous locations.
