FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SPIDERWORKS RELEASES NEW AUTOMATOR BOOK FOR MAC OS X TIGER

First Book in New Series of "Mac OS X Technology Guides"

ARLINGTON, Virginia (May 2, 2005) - SpiderWorks, LLC today announced the
exclusive book release of the "Mac OS X Technology Guide to Automator" by
Ben Waldie, the essential guide to the Automator software included in Apple
Computer's new Mac OS X Tiger. Only days after the release of Mac OS X
Tiger, this is the first published book dedicated to Automator, now
available from the SpiderWorks.com web site as an eBook for only $14.95
(US) and a printed softcover edition for only $29.95 (US).

Automator is a powerful new tool that allows you to click-and-drag from an
extensive collection of built-in Actions to create your own custom
Workflows, automating your time-consuming, repetitive tasks with the
Finder, iTunes, iPhoto, Mail, iCal, Address Book, and more. No programming
required!

AppleScript guru and Automator expert, Ben Waldie, will show you how to
harness the power of this time-saving application. "Tiger Technology Guide
to Automator" consists of two distinct sections:

Using Automator
The first seven chapters detail everything you need to learn to use
Automator, providing detailed explanations of the Automator interface and
walking you through the process of quickly building your own Workflows.

Developing for Automator
Want to create your own custom Actions? The second half of the book will
teach you everything you need to know to build your own Actions with
Apple's free Xcode Tools, using either Objective-C or AppleScript.

The companion example files from "Mac OS X Technology Guide to Automator"
are available to customers as a free download from SpiderWorks' exclusive
online Customer Download Center.
